UV Grow Light

The HydroGrow UVR30 is designed to fit seamlessly for the powerful and high-efficiency HydroGrow GLED series, which is used to support the spectrum requirement of blooming. The included daisy chain cable makes it easy to connect multiple fixtures, up to 59 pcs for 240V, and 32 pcs for 120V. Ultraviolet light is extremely important for plant growth. In safe doses, ultraviolet light helps plants and crops produce essential plant oils which not only enhance the flavour and smell of fruit but also helps the plants protect themselves from excessive ultraviolet exposure; acting as their own natural sunblock.

Easy Installation

The Hydrogrow UVR30 is a complete strip light fixture. You just have to plug the input wire into the input plug of the first light. And then connect the output plug of the first plug with the input plug of the second light. Repeat this step until all lights are connected. Cover the output plug of the last light with the female head cover.

Daisy Chain

Simple and ultra-slim structure with easy Daisy-chain design capacities which will allow you to interlink and connect up to 59 pcs for 240V, and 32 pcs for 120V with one connection to the electrical mains. This means fewer cables in your farm environment and less risk of tripping over the electric wires.

This UV grow light integrates UVA 395nm and Far Red 730nm dual-spectrum chips, precisely covering the key wavelengths for plant growth with stable and reliable spectral output.

The 395nm UVA band effectively promotes plant secondary metabolism, boosting the accumulation of beneficial substances like anthocyanins and terpenes. The 730nm far-red light regulates photoperiod, breaking seed dormancy and promoting stem elongation. The dual-band synergy comprehensively optimizes the plant growth cycle.

A 2-year warranty is the industry standard for professional UV grow lights. UV chips (especially UVA 395nm) are more sensitive to temperature and humidity, and degrade faster than regular white LEDs. In the high-temperature, high-humidity growing environment, UV lights operate under harsher conditions, so their warranty period is shorter than that of full-spectrum main lights. Warranty period ≠ product lifespan. The LED lifespan of the HydroGrow UVR30 can reach 50,000 hours, far exceeding the 2-year warranty. The warranty mainly covers manufacturing defects, not normal light decay. With proper use, the product can work stably for many years after the warranty expires.

What’s more, UV LED chip manufacturer (Seoul Semiconductor)  only provide 2 years warranty.

There is no PC housing cover on the LED bead side because UV light accelerates the aging of PC material, making it brittle over time. This is why the fixture is designed without a PC cover, and the waterproof rate is IP53.

Our UV lights use the UVA 395nm wavelength, which is safer than UVC (which can directly damage DNA and RNA, has strong immediate harm to skin and eyes, and may cause severe burns and permanent damage).
Although UVA 395nm does not cause such intense immediate injury as UVC, it is still a major cause of skin aging, wrinkles and increased skin cancer risk, and can also cause chronic damage to the eyes.
It is recommended that people not stay in the room when using the UV light, or use it inside a sealed grow tent. Please also wear safety goggles when tending to plants.

For plant growth with UV light, run the UVA 395nm lamp 1–4 hours per day. Start with 30 minutes to avoid leaf burn.
